Gundog Scurry Rules
Two seen dummies will be thrown. The dog may be restrained if necessary.
When both dummies have landed, the dog must retrieve both dummies against the clock.
The dummies can be retrieved in either order. The dog will be allowed two minutes in which to retrieve both dummies.
The clock will be stopped in between retrieves when the dog has returned to the designated area.
The dog that retrieves both dummies in the fastest will be the winner Re-entry is permitted.

Dave Bytheway a professional chainsaw expert will be enthralling audiences in his arena and in the Countyside Alliance arena with his specialist skill of carving figurines from logs using only his chainsaw.
Black Adders flyball team is a friendly group of dog owners who enjoy fun and competitive participation in the fast (and noisy!) sport of flyball. Flyball is the fastest growing dog sport and is suitable for any breed, shape and size of dog as long as they are reasonably healthy and love tennis balls! We are based in the south of Wales between Bridgend and Swansea and are always happy to welcome anyone who would like to give flyball a try.The team will be at the fair on both days demonstrating twice a day.

The Terrier Show on Sunday 19th June will be a qualifier for The Countryman’s Weekly Champion of Champions 2016.
The Champion Terrier will go forward to compete in the Finals at the Midland Game Fair in September.

Terrier and Lurcher racing will take place after the completion of the show. In addition to the usual races there will be an pen lurcher race, with the winner receiving the Heather Stevens Perpetual Trophy.


Cymric Archers will be present on both days with the ‘Have a go’ stand.
Penrhiwpal shooting club will be present on the both days with the range for children and adults of all ages to ‘Have a Go’.
